In a first Bridegroom reaches marriage ceremony in Chopper

Jammu 5, Sept : For the first time in the history of Jammu and Kashmir, the bridegroom reached the marriage ceremony in helicopter in city outskirts here.
Bridegroom Anil this afternoon flew from village Seora in Gangyal in a helicopter and reached village Badyal of R S Pura in just few minutes.
Pertinently by road too, the distance from Seora to Badyal is around 30 minutes to 45 minutes.
The bridegroom on landing near Paradise Marriage Hall in village Badyal expressed happiness and said, ”I am feeling happy and it is like dream coning true.”
“My father had a desire that one of his son’s ‘baraat’ should fly in a chopper to his in-laws village and finally, his dream fulfilled,” Anil said.
He said earlier he wanted his brother (elder son) to get married in a similar manner but was not granted permission by the administrative authorities.
“Ahead of my marriage, he ran from pillar to post for around month and succeeded in getting permission from the administration to carry ‘Baraat’ in a helicopter,” said the bridegroom.
The family had hired a private chopper of Delhi based Maharaja Company at the cost of around Rs 1.5 lakh fare for both side service.
Meanwhile, bridegroom’s sister and sister-in-law, who accompanied him in the helicopter, said, ”it is a historic moment and exclusive ceremony. We will remember it forever.”
